For our client, a successful and established company in the field of civil engineering, landscaping, and large-scale outdoor facilities, we are looking for an experienced Construction Manager / Project Manager (m/f/d) who can independently organize, economically manage, and successfully complete projects.

The focus is on demanding construction projects involving earthworks, paved surfaces, and the structural design of outdoor areas.

Responsibilities

Your responsibility – more than classic construction management

• Manage projects holistically: You will be responsible for the organization and execution of your construction projects – from initial planning to final handover.
• Keep an eye on costs and figures: You will assist with calculations, monitor economic viability, and ensure proper project accounting.
• Professionally process change orders: You will identify additional services, calculate change orders, and manage their coordination with the client.
• Optimize construction site organization: You will plan personnel, machinery, equipment, and materials proactively and efficiently.
• Coordinate construction processes: You will coordinate with the executing teams, subcontractors, and other stakeholders.
• Document and invoice services: Measurements, quantity surveys, service records, and invoicing bases are part of your area of responsibility.
• Ensure quality and deadlines: You will monitor project progress, resolve emerging challenges, and ensure smooth operations.
• Successfully complete projects: You will oversee acceptance procedures and ensure a structured handover.

Qualifications

• Professional experience as a Construction Manager, Project Manager, or in a comparable responsible role in civil engineering
• Knowledge in earthworks, road construction, surface construction, or outdoor facility construction
• A construction-related technical education with appropriate further training, a degree, or a comparable qualification with relevant practical experience
• Experience in the calculation, measurement, and invoicing of construction services
• Ideally, knowledge of change order management and the application of VOB (Vergabe- und Vertragsordnung für Bauleistungen - German Construction Contract Procedures)
• A good sense for costs, deadlines, material requirements, and efficient work processes
• Independent, solution-oriented way of working and enjoyment of taking responsibility
• Leadership skills and a confident demeanor towards employees and clients
• Driver's license class B
