For an established engineering firm in Traunreut or Prien am Chiemsee, we are looking for you as a Civil Engineer Water Management (m/f/d). Your focus will be on hydraulic sewer network calculation and sewer network modeling.

• Working Hours: Flexible working hours without fixed core times, home office after onboarding with suitable technical connection
• Location: Traunreut or Prien am Chiemsee, Bavaria

Your Responsibilities

• Setup, testing, and plausibility check of digital sewer network models with pipes, manholes, elevations, and nominal diameters
• Hydraulic calculations and hydrodynamic simulations for sewer networks and special structures
• Modeling of pumping stations, weirs, storm overflows, and diversion structures
• Evaluation of catchment areas, rainfall data, and runoff coefficients for robust simulation models
• Accompanying measurement campaigns, analysis of flow data, and calibration of models
• Load case and heavy rainfall calculations for assessing hydraulic bottlenecks and developing technical solutions

Your Profile

• Completed studies in Civil Engineering, Water Management, Hydraulic Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a comparable degree program
• Experience as a Project Engineer Water Management, Engineer Sewerage Engineering, Sewer Network Planner, or Drainage Design Engineer
• Proficient in the DWA code of practice, relevant DIN standards, and technical standards for drainage systems
• Practical experience with BaSYS MIKE, ideally knowledge of DHI MIKE, HYSTEM-EXTRAN, or comparable hydraulics software
• Understanding of database-supported work and network interdependencies when evaluating complex existing data
