BAS Accountant Public Practice | Professional Services | Full Time About the Opportunity We are seeking an experienced BAS Accountant to join a respected accounting practice based in Pukekohe . This role provides the opportunity to manage a diverse client portfolio, deliver high-quality accounting services, and contribute to the growth and success of the firm. You will support the Practice Manager, Senior Accountant, and Director , working independently to achieve business, operational, and client objectives. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills in BAS preparation, experience with MYOB or other accounting software, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Key responsibilities include: • Preparation of Business Activity Statements (BAS) for clients; • Management of a diverse client portfolio, including small to medium-sized businesses and individuals; • Delivery of high-quality accounting services, including financial statement preparation, budgeting, and forecasting; • Contribution to the growth and success of the firm through business development and marketing activities; • Working independently to achieve business, operational, and client objectives.
