Bartender

Description: The Bartender is responsible for overseeing the efficient running and profitability of bar and light meals service, assuring attentive friendly courteous and efficient service, instinctive ability to anticipate guests' needs and delivering a hospitality experience that - creating memorable moments for our guests, according to our standards and procedures. He/she has a natural flair for luxury hospitality and strong communicational skills. The role involves actively up selling to each guest, and ensuring that all guests receive exceptional service. Key Responsibilities: * Welcoming guests and taking drink and food orders. * Preparing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. * Checking identification to verify age requirements. * Taking payments. * Cleaning glasses, bar utensils and equipment. * Keeping the bar area clean and tidy. * Maintaining inventory and ordering supplies. * Providing excellent customer service. * Adhering to all food safety regulations. * Opening and closing the bar, following checklists and completing all end-of-day tasks. * Responsible for cash handling. * Adhering to all company policies and procedures. Qualifications: * Experience in a similar role * Strong communication and interpersonal skills. * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. * Knowledge of cocktails, wines, and beers. * Ability to handle cash transactions. * Must have the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
