Award winning, Azabu has long been a mainstay in the Ponsonby dining scene and now with a beachside location in Mission Bay. The menu combines Nikkei-influenced dishes and modern Japanese with an emphasis on the fun and the interesting. Azabu is situated on the beach of Mission Bay with stunning views of Rangitoto Island.

The Opportunity
Azabu Mission Bay has an opportunity for passionate Bartenders to join our team. Ideally, you will have at least 2 years of experience as a bartender in a comparable venue, a love for people and hospitality, good knowledge of wine and experience making cocktails, ability to work nights and weekends, and the desire to be part of a team with the drive to help it succeed!

In this role you will be responsible for:

• Creating exceptional experiences for our guests
• Preparing and serving beverages such as wine, beer and cocktails while demonstrating sound knowledge of our offerings
• Ensuring stock management including, wastage, display and storage
• Upselling through the knowledge of our products, and creating an engaged and authentic rapport with guests
