Barman / Barmaid

The role of the barman/barmaid consists in welcoming and advising customers, preparing and serving simple or cocktail drinks, ensuring the smooth operation of the bar, processing invoices, collecting consumption and managing inventory and supplies for the bar.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Preparation of cocktails, alcholic and non-alcoholic beverages, and hot beverages (coffee, cappuccinos, tea, etc.), respecting recipes and standardized procedures.
• Serving drinks and snacks to guests, both at the bar and in other areas of the hotel (e.g. lounge, restaurant).
• Interaction with guests to ensure a unique experience, responding to their requests with courtesy and professionalism.
• Management and restocking of the bar and café, maintaining a clean and organized environment.
• Management of cash operations, including charges for consumption.
• Collaboration with the dining team and other departments for a smooth and uninterrupted service.
• Promotion of special offers and new drinks or coffee blends.
• Ensuring compliance with food safety regulations and local laws regarding the serving of alcohols and coffee.
