Details of the position

• Modalidad: On-site

• Jornada: 51 hours weekly (including 30 minutes of lunch)

• Descanso: Rotating break during the week

• Type of employment: Permanent (plant-based from the 3rd month)

Objective of the position

Ensure the correct functioning of the bar, kitchen, and cash areas, ensuring the preparation, presentation, and service of products under the highest standards of quality, cleanliness, and customer attention.

Main responsibilities

• Execute prep lists, ingredients, and mise en place according to the Head Chef's and Manager's instructions.

• Apply correctly the system PEPS for product management, rotation, and storage.

• Comply with hygiene and food safety standards (Distintivo Punto Limpio and NOM-251).
  

• Prepare foods and beverages ensuring flavor, quality, and excellent presentation.

• Perform basic kitchen tasks (reduction of sauces, boiling, assembly, and cleaning of utensils and equipment).

• Cash management: payments, cuts, and various payment methods.

• Maintain clean and organized areas of the kitchen, bar, bathrooms, and storage room.

• Support special events, catering, or food production.

• Actively collaborate to achieve service and operation goals for the branch.

Ideal candidate profile

• Educational background: Bachelor's degree in Gastronomy (student or graduate).

• Experience: Minimum 2 years in similar positions (bar and cash, preferably in a café or restaurant).

• Gender: Undetermined.
