Barista

Join our team as Barista at Susurros del Corazón in Punta de Mita, Mexico, reporting to the Restaurant Manager. You will be responsible for elevating the Susurros del Corazón brand through culinary experiences. The execution of your functions will ensure that the highest standards of service are met and that the guest experience exceeds expectations.

Please note that this is not an exhaustive list of everything that needs to be done! Within the Auberge family, our talent always finds new ways to care for the business, its guests, and its team members. Within this, the key responsibilities for this role are:

• Check if coffee machines function properly and report any need for maintenance.
• Operate and maintain all necessary equipment to produce a variety of beverages, especially focused on coffee and/or tea.
• Set up and take down workstations in bars, café, and restaurant in an adequate and efficient manner.
• Stay up-to-date with trends in coffee and food service.
• Know how to use the correct amount of pressure to extract the flavor from grains.
• Ensure that each cup of coffee is prepared correctly and delivered to customers promptly.
