Companies: Meliá Hotels International MISSION: Organizes and supervises the activities of bar staff at the hotel to ensure optimal quality in the service offered to the customer, compliance with economic, quality, labor climate, personnel development, and operational objectives of the hotel. FUNCTIONS: Watches over the implementation, at the hotel bars, of the company's F&B strategy, rules, and procedures (products, orders, service standards, SOPs). Watches over the implementation of a system for monitoring and controlling the bar operations, ensuring compliance with the established norms and procedures. Develops and implements action plans to improve the quality of the services offered by the bars, taking into account customer satisfaction, sales, and profitability. Coordinates and supervises the activities of the bar staff, providing guidance and support as needed. Monitors and controls the inventory management, cash handling, and security of the bars. Analyzes and interprets data on sales, profits, and customer satisfaction to make informed decisions about the operation of the bars. Develops and implements strategies for increasing revenue and improving profitability through effective pricing, promotions, and marketing initiatives. Ensures compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. Maintains a positive and professional attitude, demonstrating a commitment to providing excellent service to customers and colleagues alike. QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field. Minimum 2 years of experience as Bar Manager or similar role. Strong knowledge of F&B operations, including menu planning, inventory management, and cash handling. Excellent communication and leadership skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Fluency in English is required.
