Bank Clerk / Bank Clerk (m/f/d) Overall Bank Controlling

For our client, a specialist credit institution that has been expanding for 50 years, is modern and operates nationwide, we are looking for a Senior Specialist (m/f/d) for Overall Bank Controlling at the Straubing location as soon as possible.

Responsibilities

• Conception, further development, and interpretation of complex controlling-relevant analyses and reports
• Derivation of well-founded recommendations for action for management
• Participation in the creation and further development of the overall risk profile and integration into overall bank controlling
• Collaboration in cross-departmental projects
• Further development of methods and processes in the controlling environment Critical analysis and validation of existing risk measurement methods
• Prospective leadership and development as team leader of an 8-person reporting and accounting team

Qualifications

• Successfully completed banking apprenticeship with relevant further training or a degree in economics, financial mathematics, business informatics, or a comparable field of study
• Several years of relevant professional experience in overall bank controlling, risk controlling, or a comparable function in the financial services sector
• In-depth understanding of bank operational controlling mechanisms and regulatory requirements (e.g., MaRisk, Basel III/IV)
• Ideally, in-depth knowledge of regulatory reporting for banks, German commercial and tax law, and RechKredV
• Leadership experience desirable
