Your Capco Tasks

We are looking for an experienced Banking Test Architect (m/f/d) to support a large-scale transformation program in the banking sector. The Test Architect works closely with Business Architects, Delivery Management, Value Streams, and other key stakeholders to define and further develop scope, scenarios, and test designs for the Bank Readiness Tests.

The role requires a combination of in-depth banking expertise, comprehensive testing experience in large transformation programs, a structured testing methodology, and excellent stakeholder management skills. The successful candidate will work in a complex multi-platform and multi-application environment with international teams.

• Definition and further development of scope, approach, scenarios, and test designs for the Bank Readiness Tests in coordination with the relevant Value Streams and program objectives.
• Close collaboration with Business Architects and Delivery Management to translate business processes, transformation requirements, and migration goals into comprehensive end-to-end test scenarios.
• Establishment of a structured approach for test design, test preparation, test execution, and reporting across multiple platforms and applications.
• Ensuring adequate coverage of end-to-end banking processes, including dependencies and integration points between business areas, applications, and platforms.
• Moderation of workshops with stakeholders from Business, Technology, Testing, and Delivery at various locations.
• Coordination and alignment of test activities across international and cross-functional teams.
• Identification of test dependencies, risks, gaps, test environment requirements, and readiness criteria, and ensuring their consideration in the overall test strategy.
• Definition of requirements for multi-platform and multi-application test environments, including relevant data and integration dependencies.
• Support in planning and executing tests related to bank migrations, integrations, and/or Post-Merger Integration (PMI) activities.
• Providing testing expertise and consulting at a senior level for Value Streams and program stakeholders throughout the entire transformation cycle.
• Participation in test governance, quality assurance, defect management, and readiness assessments to support informed go-live decisions.

Your Capco Profile

• Extensive experience in large-scale transformation programs in banking or financial services consulting, for example in a role as Test Lead, Test Manager, or Test Architect.
• In-depth knowledge of end-to-end banking processes and practical experience in at least two of the following areas:
  • Core Banking
  • Payments
  • Lending
  • Finance
• Strong methodological expertise in test strategy, test design, test planning, and test execution.
• Proven experience in complex multi-platform and multi-application test environments.
• Experience in defining and coordinating end-to-end test scenarios across multiple business and technological domains.
• Experience with bank migrations and/or Post-Merger Integration (PMI) programs, ideally from a testing perspective.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with international and distributed teams.
• Excellent moderation and workshop management skills, including the ability to lead workshops with participants from different locations, functions, and hierarchy levels.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Fluent German and English language skills with excellent written and oral communication skills in both languages.
