Talent Pool – Electrical Maintenance Technician

Job description

Requirements:


  • Completed Technician degree in Electrical, Automation, or Electro-technics.
  • Knowledge of electrical systems, metrology, pneumatics, and automation.
  • Knowledge of the Office suite for developing reports and email submissions.
  • Familiarity with SAP PM module.
  • Must be available to work onsite in Araucária/PR and in shifts.


The following will be considered advantages:


  • Currently pursuing a Technologist degree (Electrical, Automation, or Electro-technics) or Electrical/Electro-technics Engineering.
  • Knowledge in Automation systems.
  • Experience in continuous and batch industrial processes, and in the chemical segment.


Activities:


  • Install and perform maintenance on electrical installations in general, in accordance with standards and specific case needs.
  • Test completed maintenance tasks to verify the effectiveness of the work.
  • Execute inspection routines, preventive and corrective maintenance according to defined technical procedures.
  • Provide guidance on the correct execution of existing inspection and maintenance procedures, as well as on the correct operation of machinery and equipment, minimizing improper operations that could damage them.
  • Identify defects in machinery and installations, contributing to their proper functioning and increased lifespan according to NR – 10 standards.
  • Perform assembly of electrical controls for new applications, as well as minor reforms in electrical panels for modernization of installations.
  • Control and specify the use of electrical materials.
  • Monitor documentation of controlled equipment and certificates and their traceability, to ensure the reliability of measurement instruments.
  • Classify, register, and inspect instruments that affect product quality, safety, and the environment.
  • Prepare and revise quality documents (ISO) using management software.
  • Initiate and close service orders for the management of equipment intervention history.
  • Assist in the planning and control of maintenance to ensure a reliable intervention history.
  • Collaborate in the organization of tools and equipment used in the field.
  • Develop suppliers and technical materials.
  • Request purchases and introduce parts into stock, ensuring the supply of production lines.
  • Perform sampling inspections of parts and equipment from the warehouse, in accordance with technical specifications.
  • Prepare standard technical reports and conduct site visits to obtain technical information.
  • Collaborate on new or improvement projects for the Unit, regarding metrology, interfacing with Engineering and Maintenance areas.
