Balancing Machine Operator

At VDL Energy Systems, you will work with a unique balancing machine, the only one of its kind in the Netherlands. What will you do as a High Speed Balancer?

As a Balancer, you will ensure that turbines and compressors are perfectly balanced before they are returned to the customer. You will be involved in the entire process: from receiving and inspection to the actual balancing and preparing rotors for shipment. You work accurately, contribute to finding the best approach, and see the results of your work immediately.

• You will inspect and assess incoming turbines and compressors
• You will prepare work activities and contribute to tooling selection
• You will balance rotors at high speeds with an advanced balancing machine
• You will analyze measurement results and make adjustments where necessary

You will work in a small team of specialists where technology is central. You will regularly interact with colleagues from project management, sales, and planning, among others. Together, you will ensure that customers can rely on a reliable end product.

Who are you?

You appreciate precision in technology. You work accurately, think ahead, and take responsibility for your work. Experience with balancing is not required; we are happy to teach you the trade. However, it is important that you have technical insight and enjoy working with technology.

• You have a technical background or demonstrable technical insight
• You can read technical drawings and work instructions, or are willing to develop this skill further
• You work accurately and maintain an overview
• You are comfortable with computer systems and technical administration
• You are motivated to build specialized knowledge

• A salary between € 3,000 and € 4,100 gross per month, depending on your experience.
