Bakery Head Chef

The Bakery Chef will oversee all bakery operations and deliver high-quality artisanal baked goods with premium presentation that aligns with Fashion TV Café’s luxury brand standards. Key Responsibilities Plan and execute a diverse range of bakery items including breads, pastries, desserts, cakes, cookies, and specialty baked products. Ensure consistency in taste, texture, portioning, and visual presentation. Develop new bakery recipes, seasonal specials, and customized items for events or promotional activities. Manage inventory levels, order supplies, and control food costs within budget. Train, supervise, and mentor bakery staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations. Collaborate with the culinary team on menu planning and cross-departmental initiatives. Monitor and analyze customer feedback to continuously improve bakery offerings. Stay updated on industry trends, new techniques, and emerging ingredients. Qualifications Proven experience as a Bakery Chef or Head Baker, with a strong understanding of baking principles and techniques. Expertise in all aspects of bakery production, including bread making, pastry creation, and dessert preparation. Excellent knowledge of ingredients, food safety standards, and kitchen sanitation practices. Strong leadership, management, and communication skills.
