Our Bakery/restaurant serves a carefully curated menu of sandwiches, baked goods & pastries that features a blend of local and international cuisine. We focus on providing fresh, seasonal ingredients and dishes crafted to delight our guests.

About the role

On behalf of our client, we are currently seeking a dedicated, self-driven and highly organized Baker to be part of their growing team. You will be responsible in managing daily production - from fresh dough to final bake.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Be able to perform all baking functions. Mixing, processing and baking.
• Scaling and mixing of doughs, hand shaping of doughs
• Maintain stock levels and oversee ingredient ordering
• Assists with other bakery duties as needed.
• Performing efficiently in a high-paced environment while upholding exceptional quality standards
• Ensuring full compliance with occupational health and safety regulations, with a solid understanding of commercial baking and kitchen equipment (HACCP knowledge a plus)
• Communicating clearly and effectively with kitchen management and team members
• Keeping the work area clean, organized, and safe at all times

Qualifications needed:

• Relevant qualification or equivalent relevant work experience
• Minimum 1 year of work experience on relevant position

Salary: The role offers a remuneration package ranging from $75,000-$95,000 plus superannuation for a 38-hour work week.
