Tasks

In your role as Backend Developer:in, you will work on modern Java-based systems and actively participate in architecture, further development and teamwork:
• Development and continuous further development of high-performance Java backend systems
• Conceptualization and implementation of modern microservice architectures with Spring Boot
• Implementation of event-driven communication with Apache Kafka
• Connection and use of NoSQL databases (e.g. MongoDB)
• Integration and use of cloud services like Azure or AWS (e.g. SNS, SES)
• Use of container-based technologies like Docker and Kubernetes
• Active participation in an agile, interdisciplinary development team
• Optional: Taking on additional tasks in 3rd-level support, system responsibility or DevOps

Qualification

You fit right in with us if you enjoy taking technical responsibility and have a high quality standard:
• Completed studies in the IT field or training as an IT specialist
• Several years of practical experience with Java, Spring Boot, Kafka and adjacent technologies
• In-depth knowledge of agile development and project methods
• Excellent communication skills and confident appearance – internally and in customer contact
• High standards for clean, maintainable and clearly structured code
