Backend / Platform Engineer (Python/Go) (worldwide remote, work anywhere)

You will join the Imunify Email team - the creators of a smart, automated email protection system designed to ensure the security and integrity of email communications. As a Backend/Platform Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining our email protection platform using Python and Go programming languages. Your main tasks will be: * Developing and maintaining our email protection platform using Python and Go programming languages; * Designing and implementing new features and improvements to our email protection platform; * Collaborating with our team to identify and prioritize new features and improvements; * Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues with our email protection platform; * Participating in code reviews and ensuring that our codebase is clean, efficient, and well-documented; * Staying up-to-date with the latest developments in the field of email protection and security; * Participating in on-call rotation to ensure the availability and performance of our email protection platform. We are looking for a highly motivated and skilled Backend/Platform Engineer who has experience with Python and Go programming languages, as well as experience with Linux and cloud-based technologies. You should have a strong understanding of software development principles, including design patterns, testing, and debugging. You should also have excellent communication and teamwork skills, as well as the ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively. Requirements: * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field; * At least 3 years of experience with Python and Go programming languages; * Experience with Linux and cloud-based technologies; * Strong understanding of software development principles, including design patterns, testing, and debugging; * Excellent communication and teamwork skills; * Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively; * Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Nice to have: * Experience with email protection and security technologies; * Knowledge of email protocols and standards; * Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools; * Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies.
