Backend Developer (Java or C++)

For our client, a leading Italian company in the field of intelligence and cybersecurity, we are looking for a Backend Developer. The resource will be inserted within the technical team, where they will work closely with the Research & Development department on the development of proprietary applications and products in the Security and Defense sector. Main responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain robust and efficient backend applications Collaborate with the R&D team in defining the architecture and requirements for new projects Develop and implement APIs and microservices to integrate with existing systems Ensure the scalability and performance of the developed solutions Participate in code reviews and contribute to the improvement of the overall quality of the software Work closely with the DevOps team to ensure smooth deployment and maintenance of the applications. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in Java or C++ programming languages, with experience in developing scalable and efficient backend systems. Knowledge of security protocols and standards is also highly valued.
