Bachelor / Technician (m/w/d) Assay-Development for Diagnostics in Munich (1672)

Your career in diagnostic development.

In this position, you will work closely on the development of modern diagnostic test procedures. You will bring your laboratory experience into interdisciplinary development projects and support assay development from preparation to regulatory compliant documentation – always with a focus on quality, safety, and innovation in the pharmaceutical environment.

Tasks

• Experimentation and Laboratory Work: Preparation, execution, and evaluation of experiments in the laboratory as well as automated analysis platforms, including statistical experimental approaches, while adhering to all security and quality requirements.
• Assay Development: Participation in the development and optimization of diagnostic tests, particularly in the context of mass spectrometry.
• Dokumentation: QM-compliant documentation and preparation of results, presentation in project meetings, and support for regulatory development documentation.
• Technology Use: Work with modern analysis systems such as HPLC, mass spectrometers, and automated diagnostic platforms, as well as using common evaluation and control software.
• Collaboration and Organizational Skills: Close coordination with the team and technical lead, as well as with adjacent departments such as Operations, Quality, and Regulatory Affairs.

Qualification

• Qualification: Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in a natural science field such as biotechnology, pharmacy, biochemistry, biology, food chemistry, or alternative vocational training as a chemical/biological laboratory technician with comparable knowledge.
• Professional Experience: Ideally, relevant experience in laboratory development or quality assurance.
• Specialized Knowledge: Very good knowledge of the development and optimization of biochemical or immunological test procedures, as well as statistical experimental planning (e.g., DoE).
• Regulatory Compliance: Safe handling of complex analysis systems and their validation under regulatory requirements (e.g., IVDR, ISO 13485).
• Languages: Secure German language skills and good English language skills for documentation, meetings, and presentations.
• Personality: Team-oriented, open working style with high self-initiative and sense of responsibility.
