BA cum Functional Tester

About the Role: We are seeking a talented and versatile BA cum Functional Tester to join our team at Talent Worx. In this hybrid role, you will play a crucial part in both business analysis and functional testing. You will collaborate closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, analyze business needs, and ensure the delivery of quality software solutions through effective testing methodologies. Your unique skill set will enable you to facilitate communication between technical teams and business stakeholders, ensuring that software solutions meet the needs of our clients. As a BA cum Functional Tester, your responsibilities will include: • Gathering requirements from stakeholders and analyzing business needs to ensure that software solutions meet those needs. • Developing test plans and test cases based on functional specifications and technical requirements. • Conducting testing activities to ensure that software solutions are of high quality and meet the required standards. • Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including developers, product owners, and other stakeholders to ensure that software solutions meet business needs. • Providing feedback to development teams on test results and ensuring that defects are properly documented and tracked. • Participating in retrospectives and continuous improvement activities to enhance testing processes and methodologies. Requirements: • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. • 2+ years of experience in business analysis and functional testing. • Strong understanding of software development life cycles and testing methodologies. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines. • Experience with Agile methodologies and version control systems such as Git is an asset.
