Azure Synapse Performance & Cost Optimization Consultant

For one of our clients, we are looking for an experienced individual for the position of: Azure Synapse Performance & Cost Optimization Consultant 100% remote Project: 8–10 weeks B2B Contract Rate: 160-220 PLN net per hour Responsibilities: Conduct an analysis of the existing Azure Synapse environment in terms of performance and costs. Identify areas requiring optimization and potential bottlenecks. Develop recommendations for improving performance and reducing costs. Analyze the architecture, configuration, and resource utilization of Azure Synapse. Collaborate with the client's team to discuss proposed changes and best practices. Document conclusions and present a plan of recommended actions. At this stage, the project does not include the rebuilding or rewriting of the entire environment – its goal is to analyze the current solution and prepare optimization recommendations. Requirements: Commercial experience with Azure Synapse Analytics. Experience in optimizing the performance and costs of Microsoft Azure environments. Good knowledge of data platform architectures based on Azure. Ability to analyze existing solutions and prepare technical recommendations. Experience working with business clients and presenting analysis results. Very good command of English enabling work in an international environment. Nice to have: Experience with Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL, Microsoft Fabric, or Databricks. Microsoft Azure certifications related to Data Engineering or Architecture.
