Role and Responsibilities:
The Azure Data Engineer will be responsible for the following:
- Designing, developing, and testing cloud-based data engineering solutions using Microsoft Azure components such as Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake Storage, Azure DataBricks, and Azure DevOps.
- Collaborating with Business Analysts and Functional Leads to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Integrating different parts of the solutions into a final product through collaboration and handshakes with Data Science teams.
Candidate Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a cloud-based Data Engineer.
- Expertise in Microsoft Azure components such as Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake Storage, Azure DataBricks, and Azure DevOps.
- Strong knowledge of databases and data integration and warehousing (ETL, ELT) processes.
- Experience in data analysis, interpretation, and data issue debugging.
