Azure Data Consultant (Managed Service)

The team and what we're looking for Our Co-Ops team is a cloud-managed services capability that provides operational excellence and support to our clients. We work across a range of Azure services, ensuring our clients get the most out of their Azure investment. We are seeking an experienced Azure Data Consultant to join our Co-Ops team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical expertise, support, and guidance to our clients on their Azure data platform solutions. Key Responsibilities: Provide technical leadership and guidance on Azure data platform solutions, including data warehousing, data lakes, data integration, and data governance. Design, implement, and maintain Azure data platform solutions, ensuring they meet client requirements and are aligned with best practices. Proactively monitor and manage Azure data platform environments, identifying and resolving issues to ensure optimal performance and availability. Develop and maintain documentation, including architecture diagrams, configuration guides, and operational procedures. Collaborate with other team members, including project managers, solution architects, and other consultants, to ensure successful project delivery. Stay up-to-date with the latest Azure data platform technologies and trends, and provide recommendations on how to leverage them. Participate in on-call rotation to provide 24/7 support for critical issues. Skills and Experience: Proven experience as an Azure Data Consultant or similar role, with a strong understanding of Azure data platform services. Expertise in designing, implementing, and managing Azure data platform solutions, including Azure Data Lake Storage, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Factory, and Azure Purview. Strong understanding of data warehousing, data modeling, ETL/ELT processes, and data governance principles. Experience with scripting languages such as PowerShell or Python. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Relevant Azure certifications are highly desirable (e.g., Azure Data Engineer Associate, Azure Data Scientist Associate). Benefits: Competitive salary and benefits package.
