Job description

We’re looking for an Azure Cloud Engineer to help build and maintain a resilient, cost-effective, and continuously improving cloud environment. In this role, you’ll strengthen internal capability, support our insourcing strategy, and play a key part in future cloud initiatives.

What you’ll be doing:
  • Azure– Design and implement scalable, secure, and highly available cloud solutions. Manage and monitor Azure infrastructure to ensure performance, reliability, and cost efficiency.
  • Platform Development – Collaborate on new features and infrastructure enhancements. Improve platform capability through automation, standardisation, and self-service.
  • Issue Resolution – Diagnose and resolve platform issues, perform root cause analysis, manage incidents, and keep stakeholders informed.
  • Documentation – Create and maintain clear, up-to-date technical documentation.
  • Performance Optimisation – Continuously evaluate platform performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement improvements.
About you:
  • Experience as a Cloud Engineer
  • Solid understanding of Azure networking, PaaS, and monitoring tools
  • Good knowledge of Azure security best practice
  • Confident with IaC tools (e.g., Terraform)
  • Experience building and supporting CI/CD pipelines
  • Skilled in scripting and automation
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
  • Collaborative and proactive in sharing knowledge across teams
