AWS Cloud Platform Architect (Landing Zone, AFT & EKS - Hands-On) Miejsce pracy: Katowice Technologies we use Expected AWS GitHub GitLab Azure DevOps Optional Python Bash Operating system Windows About the project Role Summary: We are seeking a hands-on AWS Cloud Platform Architect within the CIS Deploy & Run organization to design, build, and operate our enterprise AWS cloud platform supporting CIS managed services. The role is responsible for the architecture and implementation of secure, scalable, and highly available cloud infrastructure on AWS. This includes designing and implementing landing zones, application frameworks, and security controls. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with AWS CloudFormation, AWS CDK, Terraform, or other Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools. Additionally, the role requires strong understanding of AWS services such as Amazon Elastic Kubernetes Service (EKS), Amazon Elastic Container Service for Kubernetes (ECS), and Amazon Simple Queue Service (SQS). The candidate should also have experience with containerization using Docker and Kubernetes. The successful candidate will be able to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment, and possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Key responsibilities: Design, build, and operate enterprise AWS cloud platform supporting CIS managed services; Develop and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) using CloudFormation, CDK, Terraform, or other IaC tools; Implement secure, scalable, and highly available cloud infrastructure on AWS; Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement landing zones, application frameworks, and security controls; Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to cloud infrastructure and services; Stay up-to-date with the latest AWS services, features, and best practices.
