AWS Cloud Data Engineer (m/w/d)

We are a startup for automated electricity trading, Unigy is a unique connection between the energy trade and data engineering. We deliver comprehensive innovative solutions: from asset management, portfolio optimization to the conception and development of our own developed algorithms for automating trading.

We are looking for an AWS Cloud Data Engineer who will strengthen our development team. As an AWS Cloud Data Engineer, you will be responsible for our data and cloud infrastructure. You will ensure that data flows reliably, systems run stably, and our infrastructure remains scalable, transparent, and maintainable.

You will work innovatively and application-oriented on the big challenges of the energy industry during its transformation to sustainable energy sources in a friendly, technically demanding working environment.

Tasks

• Maintenance, consulting, and further development of our AWS infrastructure
• Building and maintaining data pipelines (Extract, Load, Transform)
• Monitoring, logging, and performance optimization
• Rolling out using Infrastructure as Code
• Tight cooperation with development and specialist teams
• Ensuring stability, security, and transparency

Qualification

You bring this professionally:

• Multiple years of experience with AWS Cloud
• Ideal would be an AWS certification (not a must)
• Fundamental knowledge in Python
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (e.g. Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, Serverless)
• Understanding of data architectures and pipelines is advantageous
