Global Investment Services (GIS) provides index operations support to our clients by developing and maintaining indexes that track specific market segments or asset classes. This role is responsible for managing the development and maintenance of these indexes, ensuring their accuracy and relevance to our clients’ needs. Key responsibilities include: • Developing and maintaining indexes in collaboration with internal stakeholders and external partners. • Conducting research and analysis on market trends and developments to inform index construction and maintenance. • Collaborating with the GIS team to develop and implement new index methodologies and strategies. • Providing training and support to clients on index usage and best practices. • Staying up-to-date with industry developments, regulatory changes, and market trends to ensure indexes remain relevant and accurate. • Working closely with other teams within GIC to identify opportunities for innovation and growth. Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field such as mathematics, statistics, or computer science. • At least 5 years of experience in index operations, financial markets, or a related field. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and collaboratively. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel. • Familiarity with index construction and maintenance methodologies and industry standards.
