About Our Client, Their Team, and the Job

We are looking for an experienced tax lawyer to join a dynamic and growing business law team in Montreal. This position offers the opportunity to work on diverse and strategic files with a client base composed of companies of all sizes, entrepreneurs, and executives. You will evolve in a renowned firm or collaborative environment, excellence and innovation being at the heart of our priorities.

Main Responsibilities

Offer high-quality services in taxation, including :

• Planning and reorganization of businesses (SMEs and large corporations);
  
• Strategic analyses and research on various fiscal issues;
  
• Obtaining advance decisions for future operations;
  
• Taxation advice, both Canadian and international, as well as estate planning (discretionary trusts, asset protection);
  
• Drafting opinions, memos, and legal documents related to taxation.
  
• Participate in business development (articles, training, events).
  
• Mentor and share your expertise with junior team members.
  
  

• Bachelor's degree in law and member of the Quebec Bar Association.
  
• Master's or DESS in taxation.
  
• 5 to 10 years of experience in tax law.
  
• Excellent communication and writing skills.
  
• Able to work as part of a team while demonstrating autonomy.
