WHAT YOU'LL DO

As an AV/IT Service Technician, you will be responsible for providing technical support,

service and maintenance for professional AV/IT systems installed at customer sites.

You will work directly with customers and alongside our technical teams to diagnose

issues, carry out preventive and corrective maintenance, and ensure that systems

remain reliable and fully operational.

DAY-TO-DAY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on professional AV/IT systems.

• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software and connectivity issues.• Troubleshoot video projection, displays, video walls, audio systems, video

conferencing, digital signage and room control systems.

• Configure and test AV/IT equipment and application software.

• Perform structured cabling, equipment connections and system extensions.

• Carry out equipment replacement, adjustments and technical interventions.

• Test systems following service interventions and verify correct operation.

• Prepare service reports, intervention sheets and technical documentation.

• Coordinate with the Customer Service team regarding open service requests and

tickets.

• Provide technical support and guidance to customers.

• Communicate technical issues and recommended solutions to customers.

• Recommend appropriate solutions, equipment or spare parts when required.

• Identify recurring technical issues and communicate them to the relevant

technical team.

• Travel to customer sites across Luxembourg and Belgium.

ITEMS TO CONSIDER

• This is a field-based position involving regular travel to customer sites.

• The role covers customer locations in Luxembourg and Belgium.

• You will work in different professional environments, including corporate offices,

hospitality venues and other technical sites.

• Some interventions may require work outside standard business hours

depending on customer requirements.

• The position involves hands-on technical work and the use of tools and

equipment.

• A valid Category B driving licence is required.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

We are looking for a technically skilled, reliable, and detail-oriented professional who

enjoys working with technology, hands-on installation work, and finding practical

solutions. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, able to take responsibility for their

work, and comfortable working independently with minimal supervision. A proactive

approach, willingness to learn and adaptability to different technical environments is

highly valued.

MUST-HAVES

• Technical education or equivalent practical experience in electronics, electrical

engineering, telecommunications, automation, IT or a related field.

• 3+ years of experience in AV, IT, Extra- Low Voltage Systems, technical service,

maintenance or a related field.

• Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

• Knowledge of professional AV systems and basic signal flow.

• Knowledge of structured cabling and networking.

• Ability to read and follow technical documentation.

• Ability to work independently and manage technical interventions responsibly.

• Good communication and customer-service skills.

• Valid Category B driving license.

• Fluent English is required.

• Willingness to travel within Luxembourg and Belgium.

NICE-TO-HAVES

• Professional AV installation or service experience.

• Experience with video conferencing and collaboration systems.

• Experience with IP-based AV systems and networked devices.

• Experience with Crestron, Extron, Cisco, Bosch, QSC, Logitech, Leyard,

Samsung, Shure, Biamp or similar technologies.

• Experience with AV control systems.

• Experience with structured cabling and network troubleshooting.

• AVIXA CTS or manufacturer-specific certifications.

• French and/or German language skills.

• Previous experience in a customer-facing technical role.
