WHAT YOU'LL DO

As an AV/IT Installation Technician, you will be responsible for installing,

commissioning and supporting professional AV/IT systems at customer sites.

You will work alongside our technical and project teams to install equipment, perform

structured cabling and connections, test systems and ensure that installations are

completed according to technical specifications and quality standards.

DAY-TO-DAY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Configure and test AV/IT equipment and application software.

• Perform structured cabling, equipment connections and system extensions.

• Provide technical support and guidance to customers.

• Travel to customer sites across Luxembourg and Belgium.

ITEMS TO CONSIDER

• This is a field-based position involving regular travel to customer sites.

• The role covers customer locations in Luxembourg and Belgium.

• You will work in different professional environments, including corporate offices,

hospitality venues and other technical sites.

• Some installations may require work outside standard business hours depending

on project or customer requirements.

• The position involves hands-on technical work and the use of tools and

equipment.

• A valid Category B driving licence is required.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

We are looking for a technically skilled, reliable, and detail-oriented professional who

enjoys working with technology, hands-on installation work, and finding practical

solutions. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, able to take responsibility for their

work, and comfortable working independently with minimal supervision. A proactive

approach, willingness to learn and adaptability to different technical environments is

highly valued.

MUST-HAVES

• Technical education or equivalent practical experience in electronics, electrical

engineering, telecommunications, automation, IT or a related field.

• Experience in AV, IT, technical installation, electrical installation or a related

field.

• Good technical and problem-solving skills.

• Basic knowledge of professional AV systems and signal flow.

• Knowledge of structured cabling and networking.

• Ability to read and follow technical drawings and documentation.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a technical team.

• Good communication and teamwork skills.

• Valid Category B driving licence.

• Fluent English is required.

• Willingness to travel within Luxembourg and Belgium.

NICE-TO-HAVES

• Professional AV/IT installation experience, minimum 3 years of experience.

• Experience with video conferencing and collaboration systems.

• Experience with IP-based AV systems and networked devices.

• Experience with Crestron, Extron, Cisco, Bosch, QSC, Logitech, Leyard,

Samsung, Shure, Biamp or similar technologies.

• Experience with AV control systems.

• Experience with structured cabling and network infrastructure.

• Experience with commissioning and testing AV/IT systems.

• AVIXA CTS or manufacturer-specific certifications.

• French and/or German language skills.

• Previous experience in a customer-facing technical role.
