We are looking for an Avionics Systems Engineer (m/w/x) - Communication to support one of our customers in the aerospace and defense industry. Interested? We look forward to your application!
Tasks:
- Leading the technical development of system architectures and defining requirements for safety-critical systems, including flight control and aircraft management, in close cooperation with internal teams and partners
- Planning and leading the execution of the system development cycle, from requirement development to qualification
- Planning and leading the preparation of technical deliverables and documentation
- Creating certification and conformity documentation and ensuring compliance with aerospace and regulatory standards throughout the entire development lifecycle
- Closely cooperating with internal and external interest groups
- Regular reporting on project status and technical changes to the technical leader and program management
Qualifications:
- A relevant university degree, e.g. a Bachelor's or Master's degree in aerospace engineering, electrical engineering, computer science or a related field
- Experience in conceiving and developing safety-critical hardware and software for an airborne platform, including tasks related to system technology, security, aircraft certification, and avionics integration
- Fundamental knowledge of developing complex avionics hardware and software and experience applying standards on system level (ARP4754 and ARP4761) and SW/HW level (DO-178C and DO-254) for safety-critical systems
- You have built a successful relationship with at least one civil or military aviation authority
- You possess fundamental knowledge in the areas of leadership, navigation, and control as well as aircraft management
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to clearly and effectively report to both internal and external interest groups and present results
