Avionics Systems Engineer (m/w/x) - Communication

We are looking for an Avionics Systems Engineer (m/w/x) - Communication to support one of our customers from the aerospace and defense industry. Interested? We look forward to your application!

Tasks:

• Leadership of system design and development of airborne and ground-based communication architectures using modern technologies
• Management of relationships with stakeholders, partners, suppliers, and government representatives
• Management of the systems engineering lifecycle, from requirement development to qualification
• Preliminary preparation and supervision of tests at system and aircraft levels, including flight tests
• Preparation of certification and conformity documentation
• Ensuring compliance with aerospace and regulatory standards throughout the entire development life cycle

Qualifications:

• A relevant university degree, such as a Bachelor's or Master's degree in aerospace engineering, electrical engineering, computer science, or a related field, or equivalent training
• Experience in leading the design and development of a military or civilian communication system for an aircraft platform
• In-depth knowledge of military and civilian communication technology, including software-defined radios, data connections, air-to-air and air-to-ground communication, cyber security, RF communication, SATCOM, network management, disturbance, antenna design, electronic warfare, secure communication
• Familiarity with systems engineering, aircraft certification, and avionics integration
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to present results clearly and efficiently both internally and externally
• A passion for staying up-to-date with the latest research and technology
