MAINTENANCE ASSISTANT

On-site Activity: Belo Horizonte/MG

We are looking for a Maintenance Assistant to join the team of one of our clients, a multinational company in the Logistics and Rail Transport segment.

REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS

- High school diploma;

- Technical training, professional qualification, or training course focused on Mechanics, Metallurgy, Welding, or related areas applicable to industrial maintenance.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACTIVITIES

- Perform operational support activities for the maintenance, repair, and recovery of rail and/or industrial components;

- Support repair processes for bogies, mechanical components, and assemblies, following technical guidelines and internal procedures;

- Assist in the fabrication, adjustment, and preparation of parts, using workshop tools, machines, and equipment as trained and authorized;

- Operate or support the operation of equipment such as guillotine shears, bending machines, and other resources for part fabrication/repair, respecting safety regulations;

- Perform movement, preparation, and organization of materials, components, tools, and devices necessary for the execution of activities;

- Strictly comply with safety procedures, use of PPE, area organization, 5S, and leadership guidance;

- Record or report anomalies, deviations, maintenance needs, and unsafe conditions identified during routine activities;

- Contribute to the workshop's operational continuity, ensuring quality in delivery, care for equipment, and collaboration with the team.
