Nursing Assistant

We are looking for nursing assistants to join our team in CUEVAS DEL ALMANZORA. The duties include supporting the interdisciplinary team in the reception and welcome of new users, collaborating in the development of the individualized care plan. Interventions will also be carried out to cover daily living activities, maintain residents' personal hygiene, and clean the medicine cabinet and sanitary material. Daily tasks include administering food to residents, assisting with intake if necessary, and being responsible for receiving and distributing food in the rooms. Postural changes will be made for bedridden individuals, and there will be collaboration with nursing in the examination and observation of users. Furthermore, support will be provided in preparing for transfers, offering accompaniment and monitoring. The position also involves collaborating in the administration of medication, caring for residents with colostomies or tubes, and feeding via syringe under supervision. In the absence of the nurse, glucose tests and subcutaneous administration of insulin or heparin may be performed, always with medical follow-up. Finally, users will be accompanied in activities to maintain their physical and motor capabilities, such as medical appointments or excursions, facilitating their participation and family integration.
