Laundry Assistant

As a member of the Governance team, the Laundry Assistant will be responsible for providing a sophisticated service, ensuring the satisfaction of employees and guests according to the standards established by the property, the brand, and its certifications.

Brief description of activities:

• Participate in daily meetings with the governance department;
• Perform control, storage, organization, and maintenance of employee uniforms from the hotel;
• Organize daily deadlines for laundry and uniform replacement together with the laundry service, ensuring that hygiene standards are met;
• Maintain uniforms in an orderly manner, prioritizing presentation standards;
• Perform control, storage, organization, and maintenance of all items under the responsibility of the laundry department;
• Attend to employee requests according to hotel standards;
• Perform minor repairs and adjustments on employee uniforms when requested using sewing machines;
• Pick up clothes destined for laundry, issuing controls according to department standard;
• Care for cleanliness and conservation of work equipment;
• Comply with hotel policies and procedures;
• Comply with quality standards established by the brand and its certifiers;
• Comply with workplace safety standards established by the brand and its certifiers;
• Perform other tasks assigned to their hierarchical superiors.
