Automotive Technician We're looking for a qualified Automotive Technician to join a high-performing franchise dealership in Whangarei , representing well-known and highly respected automotive brands. You'll be responsible for a wide range of servicing, diagnostics, and repair work, with much of the work focused on Japanese vehicles, while maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and manufacturer compliance. As an Automotive Technician, you will be expected to: • Carry out routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake pad replacements. • Conduct diagnostic tests using specialized equipment to identify faults and recommend repairs. • Perform a range of mechanical repairs including engine overhauls, transmission replacements, and suspension work. • Work with customers to understand their needs and provide solutions that meet their requirements. • Maintain accurate records of work completed and communicate effectively with colleagues and management.
