This busy, well-equipped franchise group located on the North Shore is seeking an experienced and skilled Automotive Technician to join their team. Responsibilities: • Carry out routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake pad replacements • Diagnose and repair mechanical issues in vehicles • Conduct safety inspections on vehicles to ensure they are roadworthy • Keep accurate records of work completed and parts used • Work effectively with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives • Maintain a clean and organized workspace • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and techniques Requirements: • 2+ years experience as an Automotive Technician or equivalent • Strong understanding of vehicle mechanics and electrical systems • Ability to work independently and as part of a team • Excellent communication and customer service skills • Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes • Valid driver's license and ability to lift up to 25kg (55lbs) What We Offer: • Competitive hourly rate up to $40 per hour for the right candidate • Ongoing training and professional development opportunities • Opportunities for career progression and advancement within the company • A supportive and collaborative work environment • Access to a wide range of job opportunities across New Zealand
