Automotive Power Electronics Design Engineer

We are looking for a motivated Electronic, Electrification, and Power Design Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the design and development of electronic systems and electrification solutions in various projects.

Main Responsibilities:

The Hardware Design Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, and supporting the production of electronics for exterior automotive lighting.

• Maintain open communication with external clients, internal project teams, and suppliers.
• Capture and translate client requirements for Inverter electronics, voltage supplies, DC/DC Converters, and associated electronics.
• Design detailed electrical circuit schematics using design tools or develop new circuits as needed.
• Perform circuit modeling, Worst Case Circuit Analysis (WCCA), and apply expertise in Inverters, voltage supplies, and DC/DC Converters.
• Collaborate with MCAD and ECAD engineers to ensure high-quality electronic board and harness designs.
• Support testing and validation of electronics to meet client requirements.
• Act as the single point of contact for all electrical-related matters on assigned projects.
• Coordinate with Electronic Manufacturing Services (EMS) suppliers or internal facilities for electronics production.
• Collaborate with component engineering and purchasing teams to create new parts in the electronic component database.

Job Requirements:

• Degree in Electronic Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronic Engineering, or related fields.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in the design, development, and launch of automotive electronics.
• Hands-on knowledge of electronic circuit modeling using simulation tools such as PSpice, LabView, LTSpice, and Matlab.
• Proficiency in using the Altium electronic schematic capture tool.
• Experience in power electronics design, including:
• Switched-Mode Power Supplies (SMPS)DC-DC ConvertersLinear Regulators
• Familiarity with embedded systems, such as microcontrollers.
• Knowledge of environmental and Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) testing methods. Strong data analysis and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work in a dynamic, team-oriented environment and manage multiple priorities.
