You work independently, mobile, and with direct impact. As an all-round Automotive Mechanic for Roadside Assistance in Brabant, you are not tied to a fixed workplace in a garage. You help people on location, solve technical problems, and provide reassurance in stressful situations. You work with expertise, independence, and an eye for people.

• Diagnosing and resolving breakdowns on location;
• Reassuring customers in sometimes stressful situations;
• Operating independently within your work area (Breda, Tilburg, Roosendaal, Den Bosch and surroundings);
• As an automotive mechanic, you work with electric, hybrid, and conventional vehicles — from city cars to SUVs.

• You have a completed MBO 3 or MBO 4 diploma in automotive technology such as first automotive technician, commercial vehicle technician, technical specialist, or similar.
• You have over 3 years of practical experience in performing maintenance and diagnostic work in the automotive industry.
• You are flexible and willing to work in rotating shifts, including morning, afternoon, evening, and weekend shifts. For the first year, you are exempt from night shifts, but in subsequent years, you may be deployed for them. Additionally, you are required to work on half of the public holidays.
• You are customer-oriented, independent, and stress-resistant in a support role.
• You are in possession of a B driver's license and can provide a Certificate of Conduct (VOG).

• Gross monthly salary between €2,743 and €4,095 (based on 38 hours, experience, and education level) plus 8% holiday allowance and 5.58% year-end bonus;
• On top of your salary, you receive an irregularity allowance between €480 and €730 gross per month based on full-time employment and depending on your schedule;
• €700 fitness budget per year for development, vitality, and sustainable employability (if starting before July 1st);
• Expense allowance of €106 net per month;
• Internet allowance of €35 net per month;
• 38 days off (25 vacation days + 13 ADV - reduction days) for a 40-hour work week;
• Good pension accrual which also fully covers your beneficiaries and disability;
• Travel allowance: €0.23 per km for cycling or walking, €0.20 per km by car (max. 40 km), and public transport fully reimbursed;
• Plenty of training through ANWB Academy in digital skills, AI, personal leadership, and much more.

You are one of the nearly 1000 roadside assistance mechanics in the Netherlands! And you work with colleagues from other departments, for example, our planners or employees of the Alarm Center. Although you are often on the road independently, you never truly feel alone. Of course, there is also your regional team at your fixed home base. That's where we park our cars, and you'll meet colleagues at the coffee machine.
