You work independently, mobile, and with direct impact. As an all-round Automotive Mechanic for Roadside Assistance in Flevoland, you are not tied to a fixed workplace in a garage. You help people on location, solve technical problems, and provide calm in stressful situations. You work with expertise, independence, and attention to people.

• Diagnose and resolve malfunctions on location;
• Reassure customers in sometimes stressful situations;
• Operate independently within your work area (Utrecht, Amersfoort, Hilversum, Bussum, etc.);
• As an automotive mechanic, you work with electric, hybrid, and conventional vehicles — from city cars to SUVs.

• You have a completed MBO 3 or MBO 4 diploma in automotive technology, such as first automotive technician, commercial vehicle technician, technical specialist, or similar.
• You have over 3 years of practical experience in performing maintenance and diagnostic work in the automotive industry.
• You are flexibly deployable and willing to work in variable shifts, including morning, afternoon, evening, and weekend shifts. For the first year, you are exempt from night shifts, but in subsequent years, you may be assigned to them. Additionally, you are required to work on half of the public holidays.
• You are customer-oriented, independent, and stress-resistant in a helping role.
• You possess a B driver's license and can provide a Certificate of Conduct (VOG).

• Gross monthly salary between €2,743 and €4,095 (based on 38 hours, experience, and education level) and an end-of-year bonus of 5.58%
• On top of your salary, you will receive an irregularity allowance between €480 and €730 gross per month based on full-time employment and depending on your schedule
• 25 vacation days and 13 days off in lieu per year based on a 40-hour workweek. You can also save for additional leave
• Your travel expenses will be reimbursed at €0.20 per kilometer (car) and €0.23 per kilometer (bicycle/walking)
• Personal employability budget of €700 gross per year

You are one of the nearly 1000 roadside assistance mechanics in the Netherlands! And you work with colleagues from other departments, such as our planners or call center employees. Through Talks – our internal social media – you have contact with colleagues throughout the country and stay informed about all the ins and outs in the world of Roadside Assistance.
