We currently have an opening for a position as Automatisierungstechniker / SPS Programmierer (m/w/d) in Langenhagen / Bremen.

Aufgaben

• Development and programming of SPS applications (e.g. TIA Portal, Codesys)
• Creation, adaptation, and optimization of visualization systems (HMI/SCADA)
• Carrying out commissioning – remote as well as on-site at the customer's
• Analysis, optimization, and modernization of existing automation and control systems
• Participation and technical support for engineering projects in the field of water and wastewater technology
• Preparation of technical documentation and function descriptions
• Closely working with Engineering, Service, Project Management, as well as external partners
• Participation in system and solution development in the context of the automation industry and municipal water management
• Ensuring the integration and further development of existing systems and solutions

Qualifikation

• Degree in technical field or equivalent qualification with a focus on electrical engineering, information technology, or automation technology
• Very good knowledge of common programming environments (especially Siemens TIA Portal, Codesys, and ideally other systems)
• Experience in handling databases and network technologies
• Knowledge of secure/encrypted communication (e.g. VPN)
• Experience with industrial bus systems (e.g. Modbus, BACnet, Profibus, Ethernet, IEC104)
• Familiarity with Java software development is advantageous
• Experience in system and solution development in the automation industry
• Knowledge of control technology, fieldbus protocols, and switchgear construction
• Very good communication skills in internal and external environments
• Structured, reliable, and self-responsible working style
• Safe appearance, assertiveness, and negotiation skills
• Outstanding analytical and conceptual abilities
• Very good German and English language skills in writing and speaking
