Automation Technician / Programmer (m/w/d) as Project Leadership

The Water Management Central Lausitzer Revier controls and monitors complex water management processes in a region shaped by mining. The goal is to secure water levels, flows, and quality long-term and reliably meet environmental regulations. As an Automation Technician/Programmer (m/w/d) at EMIS, you contribute to ensuring this critical infrastructure operates reliably and efficiently - with direct influence on the environment, safety, and regional development.

Tasks

• Programming, commissioning, and maintenance of Siemens control systems (S7, TIA Portal)
• Analyzing and troubleshooting issues in automation systems
• Setting up and maintaining Profinet- and Profibus-DP-networks
• Working with visualization systems (e.g. WinCC)
• Using and maintaining the Archivsystem ACRON
• Project leadership from planning to implementation and billing
• Integrating and maintaining remote control technology (e.g. SINAUT ST7, TAS 300)
• Creating project documentation and technical reports (including WS-CAD / ELCAD)
• Supporting maintenance and operation of the facilities

Qualification

• Fundamental knowledge in automation and control technology, e.g. through training as an electronics technician for automation technology with a further education to a technician or a study in automation technology
• Experience with Siemens SIMATIC STEP 7 and TIA Portal
• Practical experience with visualization systems (WinCC / WinCC flexible)
• Understanding of process engineering processes and data
• Knowledge in industrial communication and remote control technology
• Experience in project development (planning, offer, implementation)
• Safe handling of MS Office and technical documentation
• Very good German and good English skills in the technical field
