Automation Engineer (m/f/d)
Full-Time


  • Configuration, parameterization, and programming of PLC controls with SIMATIC TIA Portal and SIMATIC Step7
  • Analysis and troubleshooting of wiring and communication errors between controllers and connected components
  • Participation in system integrations as well as commissioning and acceptance testing on-site at the customer's premises
  • Conducting user training and technical briefings on-site at the customer's premises
  • Creation of requirement specifications, release documents, and technical documentation
  • Processing and resolving customer support requests

  • Successfully completed technical training in the field of electrical engineering, electronics, mechatronics, automation technology (HTL, FH, University, or equivalent)
  • Several years of professional experience in PLC programming and automation technology
  • Very good knowledge of SIMATIC TIA Portal and/or SIMATIC Step7
  • Experience in commissioning and system integration of complex technical systems is an advantage
  • Structured, independent, and solution-oriented working style
  • Logical, analytical thinking ability and high technical affinity
  • Communication and teamwork skills
  • Willingness to travel (as required) in Austria and Germany
  • Driver's license B

The collective agreement salary for this position is at least € 3,716.96- per month (full-time basis) and is based on the collective agreement for the electrical and electronics industry. Depending on qualifications and experience, we are happy to offer above-average salary.
