Automation & AI Developer (m/w/d)

Tasks

Your tasks

• n8n-Workflows develop, test and operate — from simple automations to complex, multi-stage AI agents
• LLM-Integration: binding and control of language models (OpenAI, Anthropic, Mistral etc.) including prompt engineering and evaluation
• Datenpipelines (ETL/ELT): extracting data from enterprise systems (ERP, CRM, databases) and preparing it for workflows
• Aufbau von ML-Pipelines: data preparation, model training, fine-tuning, evaluation
• API-Anbindungen: REST APIs, webhooks and third-party system integration
• Backend-Unterstützung in Python and/or JavaScript/Node.js for custom code nodes and data processing
• Datenbankdesign: relational structures for workflow data
• Deployment & Betrieb on Linux servers (Docker, basic server administration)
• Vollständige Dokumentation of all flows and handover to customers or internal teams
• Close exchange with team lead and project management

Qualification

You bring this

Pflicht (without these points you won't fit this role):

• n8n: demonstrable practical experience (own projects, freelance or employment) — you know triggers, expressions, error handling and custom code nodes
• Data Science Grundlagen: understanding of data structures, ETL processes, SQL and data modeling — you can prepare and transform data correctly
• LLMs in der Praxis: you have used language models productively and understand prompting, context management and evaluation
• Python und/oder JavaScript/Node.js: solid backend knowledge for data processing and API integration
• Deutsch: very good knowledge of German (B2 minimum, C1 preferred) — you communicate with German customers and teams

Von Vorteil:

• Experience with data warehousing and data integration from heterogeneous systems
• Knowledge in RAG architectures (vector databases: Qdrant, Weaviate etc.)
• Experience with ERP connections (SAP, Lexware, BMD, DATEV etc.)
• Deployment on Linux/Docker
• Experience with MLOps or model evaluation
