Automation Specialist m/w/d

For our long-standing customer, a globally successful manufacturing company in the pharmaceutical industry, which can showcase an extensive product range including vaccines and veterinary medications, etc., and continuously develops innovative therapeutic solutions to contribute to improving health and quality of life for affected individuals. We are looking for an Automation Specialist m/w/d as of March 2026. Creation of the required specifications (User Requirements) as well as Technical Documentation, Test Plans, and Release Notes. Development of automation concepts and implementation of automation solutions using industrial control systems, programming languages such as Python or C++, and software tools like Siemens SIMATIC or Allen-Bradley RSLinx. Implementation of data acquisition and processing systems, including data analysis and visualization. Integration with existing IT systems and development of interfaces to other systems. Development of test cases and test plans for automation solutions. Creation of documentation for automation solutions, including user manuals, technical descriptions, and release notes. Collaboration with cross-functional teams, including software developers, mechanical engineers, and quality assurance specialists. Participation in project meetings, status updates, and progress reports. Continuous learning and professional development to stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in automation.
