Role: Automation Software Tester

Modality: Hybrid

Location: Rome (RM)

YOUR ROLE

We are looking for an Automation Software Tester with a solid technical-engineering background and advanced skills in developing automated testing frameworks, with a particular focus on Python/Robot Framework and UI testing solutions. The individual will be involved in the continuous improvement of verification and automation processes in contexts of high technological criticality.

Main Responsibilities:

• Analysis and understanding of the functional and technical requirements of the systems to be validated.
• Design and development of reusable test cases for functional, regression, and integration testing.
• Development and maintenance of Robot Framework keywords and automation components in Python.
• Creation and stabilization of UI tests based on SeleniumLibrary.
• Production and updating of code documentation, test cases, and project artifacts.

Required Skills:

• Master's degree in Information Engineering, Automation, Telecommunications, Electronics, or Computer Science.
• Excellent knowledge of Selenium Library for UI automation.
• Good command of Python.
• Knowledge of the Linux operating system and its ecosystem.
• Use of Docker for test environments and containerization.
• Experience with Gherkin (Cucumber) for defining behavior-driven tests.
• Experience with Robot Framework.

Nice to have:

• Experience in DevOps with GitLab CI/CD and Jenkins pipelines.
• Knowledge of performance testing.
• Advanced scripting capabilities in Linux environments.
• Familiarity with work management tools like Jira.
• Previous experience in the defense sector, considered a significant plus.

The gross annual salary for this role is between 28,000 EUR and 35,000 EUR.

The position is classified within the Commerce and Tertiary sector CCNL applied by our company.

The positioning within the range will be determined based on technical skills, specific experience in the role, and the outcomes of the selection process, according to objective and predefined criteria. In the presence of profiles with exceptional characteristics compared to the indicated range, a review may be evaluated subject to internal approval.
