Technology AG in Sulgen develops and builds industrial digital printing machines for international customers. Their systems combine sophisticated mechanics with modern control and drive technology, sensor technology, PLCs, and software. For the further development and commissioning of these systems, we are looking for an experienced technical personality who understands interrelationships, masters interfaces, and reliably gets systems running with a systematic approach.

Automation Engineer System Integration & Commissioning

You will accompany new machines and modules from technical conception to successful commissioning. Together with the specialist departments, you will develop system solutions and design electrical, drive, and sensor technology. A particular focus is placed on the integration of the various disciplines into a functioning overall system.

In doing so, you will develop and implement automation and control solutions in the environment of PLC, Motion, and machine control. You will plan and carry out functional tests, methodically analyze faults, and optimize systems until stable production operation is achieved. You will support the commissioning on-site at international customers and ensure a professional handover of the systems to production. You will document findings from tests and field operation in a structured manner and incorporate them directly into the further development of future machine generations.

Your Profile

You have a degree from a University of Applied Sciences (HF) or a University of Applied Sciences (FH) in Electrical Engineering, Automation, Mechatronics, or a comparable field, and you have several years of experience in machine, special machine, or plant construction. Your focus is ideally in automation, system integration, or the commissioning of complex technical systems.

Electrical concepts, PLC controls, and drive and sensor technology are familiar to you. Experience with CODESYS, Beckhoff TwinCAT, and CAE or E-Plan is particularly welcome. Crucial is your ability to understand technical interrelationships across disciplines, to systematically narrow down errors, and to take responsibility for solutions even with demanding commissioning tasks. Very good German skills, good English, and a willingness to travel worldwide of around 10 percent complete your profile.
