Automation Engineer

Responsibilities - Lead the design and implementation of test strategies and plans - Mentor and guide mid-level and junior QA engineers - Develop and maintain automated test frameworks using Cypress (heavy, proficient user), Jmeter, and Postman - Conduct code reviews and provide feedback on testability and quality - Analyze test results and provide recommendations for improvements - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle - Drive the implementation of automation testing tools and techniques across the organization - Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices for testing - Develop and maintain documentation for automated testing frameworks and processes - Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to optimize test efficiency and effectiveness - Foster a culture of innovation, experimentation, and learning within the QA team - Provide guidance and support to junior engineers on automation testing concepts and techniques - Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in automation testing tools and technologies - Drive the development of new automated testing frameworks and processes as needed - Ensure that all automated testing frameworks are properly maintained and updated - Collaborate with other teams to ensure that automated testing frameworks meet business requirements and needs - Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of the organization's software development lifecycle and quality assurance processes - Provide input on process improvements and best practices for automation testing - Drive the implementation of new tools and technologies to improve test efficiency and effectiveness - Ensure compliance with organizational policies and procedures related to automation testing - Participate in regular meetings with stakeholders to discuss progress, challenges, and recommendations - Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of the organization's software development lifecycle and quality assurance processes - Provide input on process improvements and best practices for automation testing - Drive the implementation of new tools and technologies to improve test efficiency and effectiveness - Ensure compliance with organizational policies and procedures related to automation testing - Participate in regular meetings with stakeholders to discuss progress, challenges, and recommendations
