Automation Engineer (m/w/d) for Renewable Energies 100% - Your Chance in Sustainable Projects

Adecco Our customer in the Winterthur region offers you the opportunity to work as an Automation Engineer (m/w/d) for renewable energies 100% on the development and implementation of innovative automation solutions for renewable energy systems. In this position, you will play a key role in increasing efficiency and digitalizing sustainable energy systems.

Your tasks:

  • Development, programming, and optimization of control and automation systems for renewable energy technologies
  • Integration of smart grid and energy management systems to intelligently control energy flows
  • Planning, implementation, and commissioning of automation solutions for photovoltaic, wind, and hydroelectric power plants
  • Analysis and optimization of existing control architectures to increase energy efficiency
  • Development of IoT-based solutions for real-time monitoring and control of energy facilities
  • Ensuring compliance with safety and environmental standards according to ISO 50001 and other relevant norms
  • Collaboration with interdisciplinary teams from the fields of engineering, IT, and energy supply
  • Demonstration, training, and technical support for internal teams and external partners

Your profile:

  • Bachelor's degree in automation technology, electrical engineering, mechatronics, or a comparable field
  • Experience in automation technology, preferably in the field of renewable energies or energy distribution
  • Fundamental knowledge of SPS programming (e.g. Siemens TIA Portal, Beckhoff TwinCAT, Schneider Electric)
  • Experience with energy management systems and IoT applications in the energy sector is an advantage
  • Analytical thinking, innovative spirit, and a structured work approach
  • Willingness to participate in sustainable and technologically demanding projects
  • Very good German and English skills for technical documentation and communication
