ABOUT THE PROJECT: At Fabrity, we are preparing to undertake new IT projects for our client – a European Union agency. The initiative involves a wide range of activities related to the design, implementation, maintenance, and development of IT services and systems. The projects will cover both the creation of new ICT solutions and support for existing systems. They will include work related to the implementation, configuration, integration of systems, and their ongoing operational support. The scope of activities may involve various technologies – from legacy systems, through currently used platforms, to new and developing solutions – as well as areas such as enterprise architecture, information security, and IT service management. IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR: Designing, implementing, and maintaining IT process automation (provisioning, configuration, monitoring, deployment, incident response) in environments: VMware, Azure/AWS/Google Cloud, Windows Server, and Linux Red Hat. Analyzing existing IT processes and identifying areas for automation and optimization. Creating scripts (Python, PowerShell, or Bash) to streamline operational tasks and system integrations. Utilizing automation and IaC tools (Ansible, Terraform, VMware Aria Automation) for infrastructure management. Implementing changes in accordance with ITIL processes and recommending best practices. Providing 2nd line support and collaborating with 3rd line teams. Maintaining and updating technical documentation. Participating in project meetings and team improvement initiatives. EXPECTATIONS FOR CANDIDATES: Higher education, minimum 1st degree. Very good command of English (min. B2). Very good knowledge of scripting languages Python, PowerShell, or Bash. Experience working with automation tools: Ansible, Terraform, VMware Aria Automation. Knowledge of virtualization (VMware vSphere) and cloud (Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud). Ability to work with Windows Server and Linux Red Hat, including configuration automation. Experience with ITIL processes and ticketing systems.
